ABOUT ME
Minal Sauerhammer is an experienced intercultural and language trainer specializing in business relationships in intercultural and Indian-specific contexts. Minal conducts trainings fluently in German and English, bringing Asian perspectives to global teams.
For over 14 years, she has designed and delivered trainings on India, incorporating her Asian background and extensive experience in Germany for authentic insights. Her sessions cover intercultural team building, cooperation, and management. In addition to her role as an intercultural trainer, Minal has been a language trainer for Business English and Technical English for 20 years – her trainings create a perfect symbiosis of intercultural and linguistic competence.
She has prepared numerous executives for challenges in the Indian business environment and trained employees from diverse professional backgrounds for assignments in India – including language skills and cultural nuances. As a lecturer at various universities, she teaches technical and business English and continually enhances her expertise through ongoing professional development.
Since 2020, she is a certified intercultural trainer and is currently undergoing further certification in DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion), which will be completed in April. In addition, she regularly stays in India for a month at least twice a year and is well-versed in the current developments there. Minal is from Pune, India.
Recently, Minal has acquired additional expertise in leadership training and team building in international teams.
Academic Qualifications: MSc Biobased Materials (Reutlingen University), MA English Literature (Jabalpur University, India), BSc Natural Science (Jabalpur University).
